About

Dear Reader,

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.  I’m Robert Morris.  A former Army officer and consultant, I am currently an MBA student at Carnegie Mellon University and a nascent robotics entrepreneur.

I’m engaged in creating the future that I saw when I when I was leading a drone unit in Afghanistan.  The technological swords that makes drones are being beaten into robotic ploughshares of unimaginable promise.  These tools will give our society the security and prosperity to continue our moral progress.  Now a civilian, I am engaged in making business work as the vehicle for this positive transformation of our society.

I hope that this can be  repository for useful ideas and observations about robotics, business, and society.

    HI Robert,

I am an independent researcher in AI human-level intelligence. I co-founded AI & robotics, machine learning and AI & Robotics Nomenclature groups in Boston MA. I am completely self-funded.

I am now writing a book(s) on robotics to help people better understand the benefits of robotics to mankind. I want to show some positive advancements in robotics that will encourage people. Hollywood and the press in the US are too negative on the subject.

I would like to have the right (royalty free) to embed pictures, text and video in the book(s) (or additional books or derivative works) from your web site or other sources that you own. I will gladly credit your web site as the source of the media. In a sense, your web site will get free advertising by people who view the book.

Any high resolution pics or other video you can supply would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance,
    Steve Taylor
